In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we now offer sale and installation of Healthy Hardware® with bactericidal germ protection. 

The copper alloy surface of these hardware effectively kills bacteria and provides enhanced safety against contamination.

Laboratory testing has shown that uncoated copper alloy surfaces, when cleaned regularly can eliminate more than 99.9% of bacteria such as MRSA, VRE, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacter aerogenes, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and E. coli O157:H7 within 2 hours of exposure.

Please note that copper surfaces are a supplement and not a substitute for standard infection control practices. 

While they have been shown to reduce microbial contamination, they do not necessarily prevent cross contamination or infections. Therefore, users must continue to follow all current infection control practices.
